Billie Eilish Joins Forces With Support+Feed and American Express to Fight Food Insecurity
Billie Eilish has been taking her philanthropy on the road with her via a partnership with Support+Feed and American Express to drive impact in local communities. The partnership provides support to small businesses as they work to serve over 30,000 meals to people experiencing food insecurity across Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Many of these restaurants are bookable on Resy and have received or will receive grant support from American Express's Backing Small initiatives.
Billie Eilish Sends Her Thanks
Eilish described her excitement about the collaboration, touting its twin purposes of small business support and community needs. "I'm really excited that we've been able to support small businesses at the heart of our communities and deliver healthy meals where they're most needed this winter," she said in a press statement. "Big thank you to Support+Feed and American Express for helping make this happen!"
Support+Feed’s Founder Praises the Initiative
Maggie Baird, Eilish’s mother and founder of Support+Feed, emphasized the significance of American Express’s involvement. “Amex has been vital to our intersectional mission of providing healthy meals to communities experiencing food insecurity, and the fact that together we’re also able to support small businesses when they need it is incredibly meaningful,” she said.
