In 2023, it was reported that Bieber was looking to distance himself from Braun's management.

Contractual Tensions and Management Challenges

Despite the growing tension, Billboard reported in August 2023 that Bieber was still contractually tied to Braun for an additional four years. Amendments to their original agreement, made in 2020, appeared to complicate the superstar's exit strategy. Braun Retires from Management
