A Yawn Worth Yelling War & Altruists
Shivering with heat from the cold, they took their stances on the battlefield
Though they weren't armless, defeatedly artless
Romance spilled over barbed wire, bomb shells and empty tanks
Bulletproof yearning and purpose unswerving
Are we going home yet? We've been out here for far too long
We watched them shoeless in the war
Weapons replaced by dancing

They cheered with grenades
They danced over mines
They hugged within gas
They loved with a war
They killed with a love
