Aaron Espe Tuesday Morning
It's Tuesday morning, I'm in bed
Rolling to the other side, so my head's far from the radio, blaring, it's 6:24
I gotta go face the day
I'd rather escape this one
Love's on the rocks it seems
I don't know what it means to be in love or stay in love, how do you even figure out this stuff
But we go make away, and it's never explained why our hearts are pounding with pain
So I'm not surprised
We haven't jumped over these walls we built up inside of us
It's like we're holding back now Haven't done all we can
If we pick up our feet we could run a little faster
It's Sunday morning, I'm sitting down listening to a sermon
But the words sound the same to me
Somewhere they lost their meaning
So I look all around, and everyone's eyes are glazed like they don't hear a sound
Call me
Call me and I'll come
Call me and I'll run
Call me or I'll call for someone
