Antonio Neglia Kingdom Come
If you were the same person to hold a heart
Nimble, forsaken, a work of art
Would you be the one to judge
Light the fires and load the guns
Forsaken but desolation still takes its place
Many centuries of plaguing the human race
Minds are confined within the eyes of the blind
While piece of mind still wanders throughout its time
The world is ensued with chaos
Sewn with the memories of the peoples of the past
The evolution has been so true,
Once the people, forever the people
Hold onto memories and make them last
Through the Nile, and the freedoms
To liberty, and God-blessed kingdoms
The wooden barred stages,
And the world wars on rages
Would you be the one to think
When you seen the other on the brink
Of being condemned, just as once did unto him
To sever the spell of purification?
We the people, forever the people
Reticule the moments, and dance upon needles
Body. Soul and Mind.
Yet not one act of the purest kind
Can cure the darkness which is seen to the blind
Although it doesn't take a blind man
Too see the unbearable counter plan
Or to make deaf man listen to the earth
For they already know,
Evil has spawned another birth
Dominated the air, dominating the sea
Even with these advances
Remain doomed for eternity
Although none of us may know,
Of the true infinite sorrow,
We never look below
Press the button, as the warhead plummets below
Though we've all been thinking, too late and way past due
We call to react too early,
Thrown into war already
Not into one, but over two
Take pride in your nation
Rise the flag and hold it tall
But once they pull your name out
Are you ready to take the fall?
Sometimes our minds our searching
For the answer or sometimes the truth
But may God even be with us
Sworn to Him may he deliver us
Hearts consumed by fire
Pulled back into desire
It drowns out, like a flood swallows a town
But even if those who wear a crow
Would deliver us from evil
One less day of suffering makes its dawn
Through the centuries we have witness change
Seen people die and countries rearrange
Divinity comes with a consequence
Despite the freedom we twist and dispense
And I'll dedicate this song to humanity
To show us exactly who we are
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
As the ages revolve around the sun
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
The Power in the name pushes you down
And than you are done
Rise again and fall once more
Blind the eyes to those who see the gore
Whiplash and counter-pacts
Screaming down as the sky rains flack
Justice is screaming my name
As we burn the poor, and worship the ones with fame
To them corrupted minds seem to work best
As we live in the day, when the corrupted land is the West
Galaxies and eras will one day collide
Will you be the one to stand?
Or the same one who will run and hide?
We are numbers, nothing but digits
Sent into war, bombarding the enemies frigates
We rape life, but we know it is forbidden
The heavenly light, flickers and deadens
" The fundamental rights of humanity are, first: the right of habitation; second, the right to move freely; third, the right to the soil and subsoil, and to the use of it; fourth, the right of freedom of labor and of exchange; fifth, the right to justice; sixth, the right to live within a natural national organization; and seventh, the right to education... "
Albert Schweitzer
Rush and charge,
In cages where they once were barred
To kill and repel, the ones who are marked with the scars
We are now bred to kill,
In hopes of more blood to spill
Recieved by fate
To be the one's who will corrupt the human race
" History does nothing; it does not possess immense riches, it does not fight battles. It is men, real, living, who do all this... "
Thy Kindgom Come, The will be done
Waiting for the Kingdom, that will never come
