Beyond The Wizards Sleeve Third Mynd

I began to turn into myself, to loop through my own flesh. I swirled, and involuted and squirmed and tried to keep from screaming at the glory and the terror of it all. Then the eye appeared. A great shiny eye suspended in space. The eye pulsated and hot burning, sweet sounding lights my body. But it wasn't my body. Suddenly I was the great eye and saw all there is to see. It was ecstasy and it was horrible, and I saw it all, and understood it all. Fantastic images surged around me, alternating, variegating, opening and closing; circles and spirals. Exploding colored fountains rearranging and by hybridizing themselves in constant flux. It was particularly remarkable how every acoustic perfection such as the sound of a door handle, or a passing automobile became transformed into optical perception. Every sound generated a vividly trending image with its own consistent sound and color. With my eyes open, the radiant colors filled the room, folding over on top of one another, in rhythm with the music. Suddenly I was aware that the colors were the music. The discovery did not seem startling. This is how one ought to see. This is how one ought to see. How things really are. Each of us is potentially mind at large, but in so far we are animals, our business is, at all cost, to survive. It did more than just rattle the cage. It made me let go of a certain surface structure. You throw the sticks up in the air and they come down in a different pattern
