No shadows from the noon day sun
Lie upon the letters left undone
With all the day leaning on my empty hand
With all the world still yet to live
I'm not fool enough to think the world could give
Me what I'm looking for to understand
Shall I read the leaves pressed in a book
Or take the time to look and linger whereupon I stand
Or shall I write a sad song today
And shift over my thoughts as they fray
Into unraveled revels that lead me well astray
Leave me with the only song that I can play
I read somewhere that when you're sad
Your body makes a chemical thereby
Releasing it into the brain
So things don't seem so bad...
I guess that beeing down is like some kind of high

And watch all of the colors turn to grey

The words, the melody the only things to stay
