Sunday morning, 2 AM, I’m lying in my bed
I hear a noise outside the room and go to see what it is
I open the door and fall to the ground, see him running away
I feel like I’m getting closer to God, my life is slipping away
I’m ok, I’m all right, but stay with me anyway
You don’t have to worry, you don’t have to cry
Lord please don’t take me away
Sunday morning, 3 AM, I’m in a different bed
There are bright lights and lots of people looking down on me
My head is hurting, I’m trying to think, a thousand thoughts are on me
What do I do, what do I say, O Lord, show your grace toward me
I share my story about the Lord to everyone around me
And when I’m speaking, a child comes in the room
Before I go, he walks to me and says a prayer to God
Now I know that all this time, it was a blessing in disguise
