Clouds Watercolour Days
I watch colours that fade
And it breaks my mind
Waiting as darkness falls
So my eyes can be blind
All my dreams have gone bad
And no-one can help me
It's hard to understand
Why everything must fade away
Like Watercolour Days
A misty haze
When that girl was mine
Now she's gone away
It's over
Dead like the leaves on the trees
When the Summer's gone
For how was I to say
What she could or she could not do
And I have become a Watercolour Man
I watched Smoky grow old
And it broke my mind
Watching his colours fade
As he ran out of time
All his dreams had gone bad
