Colcannon Send The Boats Away
Once on sea on sea of silver fishermen will cast there
nets,
To take the bounty from the sea those men are fishing
yet,
But now there boats are laden down with goods of evil
score,
And in these peace times we should fear those sea bound
men of war.
Send the boats away my friend, Send the boats away,
We care not how we run them out, Send the boats away,
And if we choose to live in peace who are they to say,
Take a stand protect this land, Send the boats away.
Who will want these nuclear holds, when the nets are
raised,
And death comes to our ocean when the seas are full of
waste,
Our fishing boat, or fishing boats lie useless on the
shore,
And bearing down upon them now, those sea bound men of
war.
Send the boats away my friend, Send the boats away,
We care not how we run them out, Send the boats away,
And if we choose to live in peace who are they to say,
Take a stand protect this land, Send the boats away.
Once I lay easy in my bed, mind free from hollow cause,
Now it seams our nuclear brine pacific sons we’ve lost,
For now those boats are laden down with goods of lethal
store,
And in these peace times we should fear those sea bound
men of war.
Send the boats away my friend, Send the boats away,
We care not how we run them out, Send the boats away,
And if we choose to live in peace who are they to say,
Take a stand protect this land, Send the boats away.
Send them away, send them away.
