i saw s chinese girl with a shot in her leg
without any hope she was sitting on her bed
her lips were smiling like she had nothing to regret
that was a week ago - now she's probably dead
it's easy to pick up a girl
who's looking for an ambulance
i saw a woman crying; staring at the sea
motionless, she looked like
she'd been trapped in a dream
the raging sea seemed to be
the only thing that she was able to hear
since her daughter died
she comes back to this place every year
