Franklin Bruno Blue's The Only Color
Blue's the only color of the rainbow
Since you took the sun out of the sky
Every other pigment
Seems a faded figment
Of the imagination's wishful eye
Since i helped you pack and watched your train go
Like has taken on a dollar hill
You took very color of the rainbow with you
Since you left me blue
I used to have such fellow feeling
Orange, red and yellow feeling
Violet, indigo and green
Filled each day and its sweet scene
Life was a canvas and you, the paintor
Now each day the outline's fainter
Since you left our happy home
Everything's turned monochrome
And
Blue's the only color of the rainbow
Now that i'm without your hands to hold
Starlight doesn't shimmer
Drops of due are dimmer
Leaves dont evern glimmer green and gold
I will try to to look beyond the paint, though
Being blind, i find it hard to do
You took every other color of the rainbow
Since you left me blue
