I met her in December
In the morning dark and early
Her beauty gazing out beyond
A veil of sheer surprise
She talked about the angel
She had been before her dawning
I sang a song from the heart
With tears in my eyes
CHORUS
Molly-Bán on a white beam birch
Golden sunlight flowing through her hair
She sees the world with a roughish eye
And her laughter fills the frozen air
The snow is falling down
I heard her calling in the morning
A blanket of white glistened
On the silent ground
Footprints tracing circles
no beginning or no ending
dancing on that hallowed ground
Her feet made no sound
CHORUS
In early summer sun
We saw the cherry blossoms blooming
We walked along the meadow
For a time without a word
A blackbird soared and sang a song
Of joy and celebration
He said that now your in the world
don’t be afraid, be heard
CHORUS
I met her in December
In the morning dark and early
Her beauty gazing out beyond
A veil of sheer surprise
She talked about the angel
She had been before her dawning
I sang a song from the heart
With tears in my eyes
