H.l. Dowless Its Been So Great Baby
You go out with me at sunset.
You go in bed at day break,
when you had rather do other things.
You go out when you get hungry,
or when your friend from across town rings.
You live for you,
it's you for you when I thought we were two.
It had to be me to tell you,
me to inform you,
can only be me when nobody else would do.
It been great baby,
my long building feels can no longer wait.
Its been so great baby,
our love has carried us so far,
beating life in some deserted bone yard,
wasting in a dockside dive bar.
Passion rules our hearts,
our mind liberates our needs,
following it carries us deep into elegant castles,
and enchanted gardens by the sea.
Even our accomplishments are immaculate,
people stand around gazing in awe,
with you everything was so easy,
with you there was no teasing,
but there can be no more time bought.
Its been so great baby,
yes its been so great,
but something inside me has changed,
on the table your cards and flowers remain;
oh your good moves came just a bit too late.
I cruise around own in my Mercedes Benz,
noticing what I might chance to see,
lots of energy,
many fine bodies,
smiles too smooth for me to believe
Too bad my love, we must now part,
my best wishes shall carry you far.
Its been so great baby,
I hate we must go so far away from each other now.
A twinkle in the widow ahead of me,
sends off to chase a falling star.
