Jason Ingriselli Stone Walls
Headin' north, nearly asleep at the wheel
Must've seen every mile marker by now
It's been a long day huntin' down the Skyline
Outlined by these fields, the stone walls and tall pines
Such a view makes me feel alive
Pulled off the road to rest my eyes
And as shadows move off into their own
The Blue Ridge Mountains narrate this drive back home
Home is a breath away
And I'll miss the beauty of stone walls from the highway
And they take me back
To the hills near Ragged Mountain
The engine turns over in the morning dawn
Been wearin' on me, this road travelin' on
Still I am gunning for the horizon
And as the day opens up, I feel the sun risin'
Home is a breath away
And I'll miss the beauty of stone walls from the highway
And they take me back
To the hills near Ragged Mountain
Home is a breath away
And I'll miss the beauty of stone walls from the highway
And they take me back
To the hills near Ragged Mountain
