Lugubrum At The Base Of Their Tail
My ship stranded on a rock
Colonised by sticky beings
With unsound perception
I stood and stared into the rat's eye
Malingering gleam
Betraying the organ 'Kundabuffer'
I severed the tail
And ingested the poisonous tentacle
It tasted not of home
I dined on my loved ones
My smell was not my own
