Today or Tomorrow, sooner or later
Some hot summer night the devil will take ya
When the smoke disperses from an autumn's fire

A funeral in winter, dark days feel colder
There's clean fallen snow, then the shoreline takes over
Days melt to spring and on flows the water
Dry off your tears to the sun and fine weather
We're always one day away from a coffin

Feel their pull in either direction
No matter the way we behave
The end is reached some way
Eventually we all feel the peace
To quickly go or be partly machine
And no matter the time you are taken
It's not worth living to just be here waiting
We'd sooner die in the arms of comfort
Sooner than later, it's no longer worth it
