Mark Lowry How Many Rabbits
Johnny wanted to be an accountant, so he went for an aptitude test.
The teacher said, "If I give you two rabbits and two rabbits and another two rabbits, how many rabbits have you got?
Johnny said, "Seven!"
The teacher said, "No. Listen carefully: If I give you two rabbits and two rabbits and another two rabbits, how many rabbits have you got?
Johnny said, "Seven!"
Then the teacher said, "Let's try this another way. If I give you two bottles of coke and two bottles of coke and another two bottles of coke, how many bottles of coke have you got?
Johnny said, "Six."
"Good!" the teacher said. "Now, if I give you two rabbits and two rabbits and another two rabbits, how many rabbits have you got?"
Johnny said, "Seven!"
"Why on earth would you think three lots of two rabbits is seven?" asked the teacher.
"Because," said Johnny, "I've already got one rabbit at home!"
