DAYS (part 2)

Days drift by innumerable; life in its timeless ease, who’s secret heart can
fathom it’s depth, the barren landscape of paradise and the morning’s
rush, the sleep of October; April your broken mother, make it sweet
who’s song is swallowed, stand humble before the changing architecture
of movement, the heavens hang in silent mystery, the mind is colored by
the sky and forgiven by the rain, eternity is spent by the moments vain
hunger, the restless river the raging sea of life, fate is but one wrong
footfall in the steps of faith, memories survivor wears the laurels of
sorrow, as his time trapped mind tries to grasp the future of bones and
dust, mornings come like a dead promise; nights wait like a panacea, days
drift by innumerable with all the vague perfection of a dream.
