Obsequiae Ceres In Emerald Streams
Throned beside the purling brook
Where throstles sing to wild throngs
Dance the fount in sweet perfume
Naiads adjuring charms and song
Fragrant springtide winds now call
To the reticence of bloom
In mirthless, sylvan meadows
Where daylight begins to loom
Here where currents gleam in silver passage
Arise now from your sleep
Sonne mandeth hire lyht
Known now is her presence
In the glimmer of the water
Undulating pools windswept
Where Ceres awaits her daughter
All life awaits you
Gilded by sunlight
Resplendence of the old Earth
As the shadows acquiesce
An aurous sunset gleams
Against the irises effloresce
Do you remember how long it's been
Since your last breath was drawn?
How do you spend your lonely hours
When the sadness carries on?
Besotted by nighted heavens
Or the colors one seeks in dreams
Where bloom evinces sorrow
And waits in emerald streams
Ase strem that striketh stille
Mody meneth, so doth mo
Mon mandeth hire lyht
So doth the semly sonne bryht
