Purvaja Shava Sadhana
At the dread of the night
Of a new moon day
With a fresh human corpse
Complete and uninjured
Kept facing downward
A yantra is drawn on its back
Seated on this shavasana
Performing the japas
The sadhaka seeks
To open the eye of his mind
And identify
The living principle within himself
