…& a light is crushin' through, going out &
flying ("Down so soon?"). A ripple in the stares
is reining, too (the 'passed' was played (it smoked
& stayed!).).
"I'm glad I rolled; I'm glad you came.”
But, has it ever been darker than today?
Morning: bring us back to find innocence as
a word, as a kind, arced, up in a northern town,
holding up.
Face-down: ‘... a sure little wonder,' we'd been
told, 'where mystery walks so mean & low.'
("Hello..."): I remember nothing I tried to speak,
always stirring. Couldn't you stand a little sleep?
"I came home on an inside line. But, how'd you
know? How'd you believe?
