Sadie Recall
When I feel like I want to cry, I’m softly filled with
warmth
When I feel like I want to laugh, I’m softly filled
with sadness
I am afraid of what I can’t see, and even though I hate
people I just can’t move, that is my weakness
The goodbye of my lover who refuses my betrayal, my
sadness and my unstableness make my tears come up
I am afraid of loneliness, so I chose to gather
I want liberty, so I chose loneliness
When I feel like I want to cry, I’m softly filled with
warmth
When I feel like I want to laugh, I’m softly filled
with sadness
Adults worship the north wind or the sun with pride,
they employ fraud as a boundary for superiority and
inferiority
If I am desperate by questions that have no answer, I
should spit them like candies tied by a whip
I am afraid of loneliness, so I chose to gather
I want liberty, so I chose loneliness
When I feel like I want to cry, I’m softly filled with
warmth
When I feel like I want to laugh, I’m softly filled
with sadness
When I ask myself “who can I show my tears to?” The
answer to it is for sure : in front of you
As you are by my side, as I want to cherish you, I make
you hear my voice and we won’t break apart
As the thoughts I can’t really express with words are
accumulating, I want to try to tell you them softly
with this letter of this night
Whispering, I put together my hands numbed with cold
and think “Take care. Thank you.” The powdered snow is
accumulating
If you can’t walk, raise your right hand
If you want to stop, you should close your right hand
Here is kindness, because you offer me a future
Here is sadness, because you take away my past from me
Don’t forget, because if you give me half of your
crimes and sadness
Those smart words don’t suit you but if you’re yourself
that’s just fine
My dear, now I hate you but the thoughts I wrote down
are made of lovely and ironic words
My voice rots away, and even if I become alone I’ll
remember this present
