Shultz Aura Of The Pearl
I sit at home late at night starin' at the floor Rockin' back-n-forth it is the pain I can't ignore I don't think I'm insane and I know I'm not alone But the rain soaks through my shelter as my soul begins to moan I need to be released from this force that's drivin' me Don't want to be tattooed and stain all that I'll ever be To crash and burn is not the path that many wise men follow So I close my eyes and listen as they lead me toward tomorrow It's then I hear the whispers and the winds that make'em roll that defines the inspiration that has given me a home He talks to me and tells me things I know I've said before But the aura of the pearl is what will lead me to the shore Again I find I'm rockin' as I await the river's end Where my soul can then seek shelter and allow the wounds to mend The aura of the pearl is a reflection of my eyes That holds the wind's direction as the sun begins to rise
