Story One Saving Grace
You had enough, you needed proof.
So you read another book, it changed the way you looked
at things you thought you knew it all.
You moved on, you changed your name, but you always
stayed the same, doubtful of a photograph 'cause images
can change.
To be there is to feel this, is to trust in a power
cause we all need some oxygen we could use each others
mouths.
You breathe in, I breathe in, aaah.
You met new friends, you moved on but you never stayed
in one place.
A fable like a gospel song was calling out your name,
yeah.
You looked inside a looking glass and never quite
understood why preachers preach religion and you just
stood aloof.
To be there is to feel this, is to trust in a power.
Cause we all need some oxygen, we could use each others
mouths.

All encounters, epiphanies, all manner of strange
dreams.
You're both the servant and the master of your destiny.
While you looked up, the world looked down just to
admire your face.
But when you're lost, you find someone and that's your
saving grace.

Move forwards not backwards leaving those before us
this moment between then and now.
