It hurt so bad, on that day,It hurt so bad, I couldn't

I sat around and began to cry,
and started asking myself, Why...

Why did you feel that you had to go,
You could have stayed here and been with me,
But no I guess God thought it was time for you to leave,
I think about you every single day,

The reason I hurt is still plane to see,
You were like a brother to me.
Why did you go away
can someone help me find the words to say,
I'm alone and afraid,
It all started on that day you went away.
I guess I can relax right now,
I found a little comfort in this some how,
I know your in heaven with our God,
And that thought makes me start to sob
