Vita Versus Nomads
We held our tongues while the serpent began to speak
And when it uttered, all it's foul decrees
We never faltered, never waned, never broke our ranks
We clenched our fists tightly and dug our heels in
This is a battle of endurance, one that they could never win
When the cold came for me, I showed it my burning heart
I tore the flesh from my body to become a beacon in the dark

Would you follow or would you stay?
Have you ever felt the breathe of the breeze
Guiding you to the places you need to be?
Suddenly there's me and I'm a servant of all revision
And I'm the shepherd of all my vision
I'm looking down by all those with the cognition for premonition
But what they never told us was we are all nomads
Searching for our place, reaching for a new day
To lift off from the lens of our self imposed obscurity
To reshape the limitless vastness
Unhinge the world that cast us out
