Caught on a nameless plain,
don't know where my mind has taken me
There's nothing I could name,
all I have is a broken memory
Fragments of a time and place
where things were like their names
Now all I have is a rhyme
and here the echoes play their games
deny it - defile it - believe it - conceive it
I wander far and wide
and seek the reel that I have lost
Who wants to be my guide
and lead me over a road I've never crossed
But as I twist and turn
my mind is nothing but a word
And as I realize -
these lines are getting quite absurd
